Shannon Schroeder
M.S. Counseling Psychology
Shannon is a compassionate and person-centered therapist and is here to help you work towards your personal goals and find healing and growth.
Whether it is the trauma of the past, the challenges of present circumstances, or the fear of an uncertain future, counseling can help. Shannon strives to create a non-judgmental therapeutic environment built on empathy, where we work collaboratively to help you find healing and solutions.
Shannon has previously worked for Western Psychiatric Institute and Glade Run Lutheran Services. She is well-versed in a variety of therapeutic approaches and has been trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy); however, she believes in offering an integrated counseling approach to fit each client’s needs. While she works with people from diverse backgrounds, she is able to offer Christian counseling if desired.
Shannon is passionate about helping each of her clients move from surviving to thriving and looks forward to beginning that journey with you.
When not counseling, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and church family. She especially enjoys hanging out with her husband and three children and loves reading, crafting, and taking care of her container garden!
