Crystal Rose
M. A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Clients who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event(s) are often stuck in a cycle of anxiety and hypervigilance that keeps them from being able to function in society. Clients like veterans, first responders and victims of abuse may feel like they are haunted by their past when experiencing flashbacks, triggers, and grief that can feel overwhelming. Sometimes, the feelings of grief are due to drastic life changes, and adjusting to these life changes has felt impossible.
I offer a safe space for clients to navigate all of their thoughts, feelings, and emotions at their own pace. Interventions utilized are tailor-approached to the unique needs and goals of each client. Christian perspectives and principles may be incorporated into counseling at the client's discretion.
Crystal has experience working with individuals with traumatic brain injuries in her previous role as a former Brain Injury Specialist. She has seen how traumatic experiences both physically and mentally can change thought processes and mental functioning. She strives to help clients find healing, the strength to be able to take back their life and live more peacefully.
- Success is determined not by whether or not you face obstacles, but by your reaction to them. And if you look at these obstacles as a containing fence, they become your excuse for failure. If you look at them as a hurdle, each one strengthens you for the next." - Ben Carson
- I cherish the good times with my fiancé, family, and friends. I also love being in nature and doing activities like hiking, biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, and reading a good book.
- I enjoy trying new things and learning about other cultures.
