Cathy is passionate about forming a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship with her clients. She integrates professional counseling techniques and Christian principles in the therapeutic process, as directed by each individual's personal preference and faith journey.

She uses a variety of interventions grounded in the theoretical approaches of person-centered counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based approach. Additionally, incorporating faith-based principles assists individuals in their pursuit of wellness based on their needs, beliefs, and goals.

Cathy graduated with highest distinction with a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Berry College in Rome, GA. Cathy has been married since 1993 and has 3 adult children.

Heather is passionate about and has years of experience working with diverse populations.  This has given her the privilege of walking alongside others and helping them navigate through transitions, trials, and unexpected circumstances.

Life is a journey full of unknowns, these can be difficult to handle on your own. Heather wants to come alongside you with encouragement to achieve the goals and desires you have for positive change and smooth transitions.

She emphasizes a collaborative relationship focusing on the strengths of the individuals she works with. Her aim is to create a safe space to face challenges and cultivate meaningful change in a non-judgmental environment.

She draws from various modalities such as Cognitive Behavior, Emotional Focused, and Solution-focused therapy. Additionally, faith-based principles may be included as requested by the client. Heather is pleased to offer virtual appointments for those residing in Pennsylvania.

Heather received her undergraduate degree in sociology from Calvin College in Grand Rapids Michigan and her master's degree in counseling from Geneva College in Pennsylvania. Heather was the graduate assistant in the counseling program for two years as well as completed her internship in the Pittsburgh schools. Prior to counseling, she has 20 years of experience working with families and children in Iowa.

Lacy Grieb

Lacy is passionate about the importance of the parent-child relationship and counseling with Christian principles in mind.

Lacy hails from a small town in middle Georgia and has just recently moved to the area with her husband. Although she now lives in “the North,” she holds tightly to her personable southern mannerisms and customs that make her who she is. Lacy is passionate about stepping alongside parents, their children, adolescents, teens and young adults as they navigate through their growth and development. She invites her clients into a safe environment to be themselves while establishing a healthy therapeutic relationship. With an eclectic and diverse approach to counseling, she uses a number of therapeutic methods to cater to each of her client’s needs.

Lacy graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Truett McConnell University. Lacy and her husband are happily married and have a lovely springer spaniel named Birdie.

Samantha Philip

Sam is a compassionate counselor rooted in values of humility, mercy, and clinical excellence.

Her own healing journey has given her a profound passion for people struggling to find freedom from their pain, fear, and relational strongholds. She believes each of her clients is capable of healing and is committed to standing alongside them as a fellow sojourner while also implementing evidence-based therapy and offering tools to heal, grow, and thrive. Sam has experience with couples, anxiety, family systems issues, premarital counseling, spiritual trauma, and OCD. 

Sam’s therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and rooted in family systems theory. She believes in drawing from various modalities including emotion-focused therapy, exposure and response prevention therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Sam also has personal experience with interracial and intercultural marriage and is also comfortable implementing biblical and spiritual elements according to her clients’ preferences. 
Sam received her BA in History from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary in Denver, CO. Sam and her husband live in Highland Park with their two young daughters.

Molly Ramich

Molly Ramich strives to provide a warm, safe environment for individuals and families to cope with difficult situations and grow.

Molly has a trauma-informed, strength-based approach that is rooted in the belief that each person has dignity and worth. She has experience working with families, children and adolescents, and young adults, specifically implementing techniques related to addressing anxiety, depression, communication skills, family dynamics, and parent management. She particularly enjoys utilizing solution-focused and motivational interviewing modalities, and she can integrate faith-based principles into counseling if desired. She also has experience connecting families to additional community resources if needed.

Molly received her undergraduate degree in social work from Gannon University and her master’s degree in social work from Binghamton University. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar and singing, reading, being outdoors, and baking!

With a background in ministry, Emily has worked with many families and is a self-declared "people person."

Her goal is to provide excellent client care and kindness to each person who walks through the door. She is also excited to support the operations of Hope Counseling Pittsburgh so that the therapists can focus on what they do best! In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and toddler. Any spare moments that they have are spent outdoors, enjoying music, movies and good food!

Shannon Schroeder

Shannon is a compassionate and person-centered therapist and is here to help you work towards your personal goals and find healing and growth.

Whether it is the trauma of the past, the challenges of present circumstances, or the fear of an uncertain future, counseling can help. Shannon strives to create a non-judgmental therapeutic environment built on empathy, where we work collaboratively to help you find healing and solutions.
Shannon received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Concordia University (Ann Arbor) and her master's in counseling psychology from Chatham University. She has previously worked for Western Psychiatric Institute and Glade Run Lutheran Services. She is well-versed in a variety of therapeutic approaches and has been trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy); however, she believes in offering an integrated counseling approach to fit each client’s needs. While she works with people from diverse backgrounds, she is able to offer Christian counseling if desired.
Shannon is passionate about helping each of her clients move from surviving to thriving and looks forward to beginning that journey with you.

Autumn is passionate about pursuing hope with her clients as she considers it a privilege to help clients experience peaceful and fulfilling lives in light of challenging experiences and hardships. Autumn is known for being vibrant and tender-hearted.

Autumn counsels from a holistic approach in which she integrates physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of one’s life. Additionally, she is cognizant of the roles played by one’s community, habits and thought life. She encourages clients to develop a counseling relationship at their own pace and comfort level, seeking to offer a safe space for self-discovery. Autumn welcomes clients of all faith backgrounds, though she feels best equipped to counsel from the framework of a Christian worldview.

Autumn grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh and recently welcomed her husband Benjamin to the area from Columbus, Ohio. Her favorite pastimes include reading books, singing and writing songs, sharing laughter, and embracing nature.

Autumn graduated from Geneva College with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with minors in Student Ministry and Criminal Justice. Autumn and her husband are happily married, and they reside with their three spirited cats named Samoa, Tagalong, and Daisy.

With a history and heart for caring for others,  Jenn is passionate about walking alongside people during life’s uncertainties. Additionally, she looks forward to helping people achieve freedom and to maximize their potential. She incorporates a person-centered style of counseling and has a trauma-informed care perspective. She also uses other therapeutic methods in order to help each individual, couple or family to achieve a pathway to wellness through life’s challenges. Per the client’s request, she is equipped to incorporate Christian counseling.

Jenn received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Geneva College in PA and earned her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Penn State University. Prior to counseling, Jenn joins us with over 20 years of experience in ministry with youth and families. She has been married since 1991 and has three adult children.

Her desire is to work with individuals, couples and families who are pursuing positive change in their lives. Colleen is happy to offer Christian counseling, while she also works with people from diverse faith backgrounds. She uses a variety of counseling methods in order to meet each client’s unique needs which includes: person-centered, cognitive behavior therapy and solution-focused therapy.

Colleen completed her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Geneva College; while receiving her undergraduate degree from Grove City College in Christian Ministry. She has been married since 1994 and has raised three children.

Kaelin provides a safe refuge for clients to come and share their stories and faithfully walks with them to promote healing and growth. She integrates multiple therapeutic modalities while considering each individual’s faith beliefs.

She brings authenticity and warmth into her work providing a collaborative experience for anything from depression and anxiety to work stress and relationship conflict. She is grounded in theoretical approaches of Adlerian counseling and cognitive behavioral therapy and utilizes faith-based principles to promote healing as guided by the client’s request. Kaelin highlights and utilizes each individual’s strengths and addresses all aspects of wellness including mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health.

Kaelin received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. Additionally, she has worked with adolescents in a variety of settings including coaching sports teams in her free time!
