M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Life can feel overwhelming when emotions seem bigger than your ability to manage them. As a parent, it can be heartbreaking to watch your child struggle with anxiety, emotional outbursts, friendship challenges, or changes at home—and to wonder how to help. As a mom, you may spend so much of yourself caring for everyone else that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to be cared for. You may feel exhausted, anxious, emotionally depleted, or like you’re carrying more than anyone realizes. And as a young adult, navigating college, careers, relationships, and life’s constant transitions can leave you feeling uncertain, isolated, or stuck.
You don’t have to continue carrying these burdens on your own.
Katelyn believes that every person’s story deserves to be heard with compassion, not judgment. She creates a safe, welcoming space where children, adolescents, young adults, and mothers can slow down, process their experiences, and begin healing. Her approach is personalized because no two stories are the same. Together, you’ll identify what’s keeping you stuck, build upon your existing strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and gain practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
Whether she’s helping a child learn to express emotions in healthy ways, supporting a mother who longs to feel like herself again, or guiding a young adult through life’s uncertainties, Katelyn walks alongside each client with empathy, encouragement, and genuine care. For those who desire it, she is honored to thoughtfully integrate Christian faith into the counseling process while always respecting each client’s individual beliefs and values.
Imagine feeling less overwhelmed and more at peace. Imagine your child growing in confidence and emotional regulation, your relationships becoming healthier, and your days no longer being controlled by anxiety, stress, or uncertainty. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to find your way there alone. Katelyn would be honored to walk that journey with you.
